Support

If Sidecar is showing the wrong order, cannot scan a page, or cannot send reviewed lines, start with the checks below.

Check the basics

  1. Open the intended Shopmonkey order in Chrome and confirm Sidecar shows that same order.
  2. Open Sidecar Settings and confirm the intended production or sandbox Shopmonkey connection.
  3. If AI scanning is enabled, confirm the Gemini key and model status in Settings.
  4. Retry the failed read, scan, or push from Sidecar. Do not paste browser-session tokens into the API-key field.

Send a useful support report

In Sidecar Settings, use the support summary or diagnostic copy action. Review the copied text before sharing it. Sidecar redacts known credential patterns, but operators remain responsible for checking support material for customer or shop information.

Never send Shopmonkey API keys, Gemini API keys, browser-session tokens, payment information, or unreviewed customer data in a support request.

Use the developer contact or support channel shown on Sidecar's Chrome Web Store listing. Include the Sidecar version, whether the connection is production or sandbox, the action that failed, and the reviewed support summary.
